In November, I was impressed by the price and the quality of room we had. $108 for 2 queen beds in a clean, comfy room. Breakfast in the morning with eggs, hashbrowns, sausage, waffles you can make, cereal, yogurt, muffins, and English muffins. Good variety for breakfast. Pretty quiet, but our room had some road traffic, so we were glad for our white noise machine. The shower pressure was great and the head was high enough for someone who is 7 ft tall. 😉 Friendly service and well decorated for Christmas. Great place to stop, imo.
This is an old and dated motel, but it was very clean, which is my No. 1 priority. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and the temperature controls worked well. All lighting and electronic hookups were in order with plenty of light for reading. Country Inn has done a good job attempting to update the rooms, but for the price, we expected a newer and/or more modern hotel.
Great economy hotel in general. However the fitness center isn’t air conditioned and has 6 recessed spotlights that generate a lot of heat. A person can’t exercise in such a hot room with no air circulation or cooling and heat generating lights. The fitness center isn’t conducive for most travelers. The rooms are clean. The staff is polite and helpful. The location is excellent. Perfect for basic needs with some extras. Safe and free parking is a plus.
We stayed at this hotel in Flagstaff, Arizona and booked two queen rooms. The beds were comfortable, and the extra pillows and comforter I requested were provided without any issue, which I appreciated. The pool and hot tub were a nice amenity. Both were clean, worked properly, and were a big plus for our family. The parking lot is quite small and made unloading and loading the car a bit difficult, especially with kids and luggage. Check-in was frustrating. Due to an accidental booking error on our end with the date, we ended up having to essentially double pay. When the front desk attendant couldn’t locate our reservation, he wasn’t very helpful, and when we asked about possibly switching the night, we were told we would have to pay for both nights anyway. Friendly, great customer service. Clean room. Great free breakfast. Good value. Only negative was that room service is only offered every 3 days and we weren't informed until after the first night. However, they DID respond immediately when we requested fresh linens for the bathroom.
