Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Beaufort West, SC

This hotel is not clean and smells bad. Also This hotel has bed bugs. I got beaten by it. At first I thought sheets are not and maybe someone will help me. When I went to front desk Indian guy told me to change the sheets by myself and when I went to change the bed sheets I found the bed bugs. I have photo and video of evidence and I have asked for refund but they haven’t responded to me yet. If you see this review please give me refund. I waited too long for response.

Overall pretty good. The bed was super comfortable. Nice size rooms. Staff seemed low energy, not super friendly but not to where I wouldn't stay there again. Front desk seemed a little sticky or something . Room was good, found a few long hairs in the bathroom. The grout in the bathroom could use scrubbing. Could use a little touch up in bathroom, few bubbles on ceiling paint, mirror trim was separating from mirror a little, nothing extreme. Towels were clean, sheets were clean. Hot breakfast standard . Liquid eggs not my favorite, but they get the job done. Pool was open big plus. AC worked very good. Overall satisfied. If someone gave just a little more TLC , it would be a very great hotel.

It took about 45 minutes to check into our room even though the rooms were booked 5 days in advance. The system was down couldn’t make card keys and the front counter was very slow. Both of the rooms smelled bad had to buy spray from the store to get rid of the smell. Breakfast was decent though.

On arrival no desk clerk available. Found clerk asleep in a cubby spot by dining area. Stated that had to work 48 hours straight. At 4pm there should be a clerk on duty. Room was fine. Some wear on ceiling and walls. Realize it is tough to get good help. Would stay there again. Indoor pool was main reason so grandkids could play some.

We are originally from Beaufort. We return each year to visit with family. This was our favorite hotel stay so far. Hotel wasn't crowded. Kids usually had pool to themselves. Hotel and room were clean. Staff was phenomenal. Breakfast was great. Room was big. A/C worked great. Walking distance to Wendy's, McDonald's, etc. Overall my family all said this was the most relaxing stay in hotel.
