Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Annapolis, MD

I have stayed here multiple times, normally great, i have had one bad experience(I give a few chances, things happen). This past stay was horrible. Glad i called ahead so I knew that the pool was closed, but the hot tub was open because i would have been angry if i got there and the hot tub wasnt working.. That was fine , i wanted the hot tub. However when I got there found out that the elevator was out of service as well. I requested to stay on the first floor which yes is a pet friendly for but it was close to the hot tub and it's easier to go downstairs then upstairs, as my back and knees arent what they used to be.. I was using the hot tub so it just made sense so I didnt have to keep walking up and down the stairs . However when I was sleeping i got woke up by the air conditioner be

Older but updated. My room was super clean which was most important for me (although I still wipe everything down with disinfectant wipes😁). Friendly staff, cute set up and decorations, comfy beds and pillows, has an at home type vibe, the hotel name is fitting. Breakfast was decent, great parking. I would definitely stay here again, especially around the holidays. If I had to give a complaint, there were only two tissues in the tissue box in the bathroom, and only two wash cloths...which we could have asked the staff for more, but didn't. Great stay overall.

The front desk ladies were amazing! They were all so kind and helpful. Also beautiful bc they kept smiles on their faces!! We were there four days and we absolutely have no complaints. The housekeeping were extremely nice and anything that we requested they did with a smile on their face. The cookies and coffee was a nice treat. The pool was a good temperature. The breakfast was good the oatmeal bar was my favorite. I don't know how they actually can give rooms out for that cheap for the price that I paid in downtown Annapolis! We come to Maryland once a year or so and we always stay there and we will be staying there again next time.

This hotel in mediocre at best, it is tired and needs to be updated. The rooms are just OK and the bathrooms are very small without handicap bars in the shower. The shower curtain barely covers the shower curb, consequently water goes all over the floor. The shower is only about 4 feet x 2 feet, and when showering, one must be careful not to get water on the floor. In fact, the front of the commode is within inches of the wall. |The room rates are expensive and this hotel is not worth the pricing that is charged. |There are a number of newer competitive hotels in the area, and I would recommend that all travels compare the competition to this Double Tree.

I have already spoken with manager, Boryana Karadzhova, and she actually reached out to me to ask how it was and followed up with me, but since you are asking: Upon entry to hotel, rugs at sliding doors were FILTHY. In addition, old carpets throughout hotel in hallways and dining area were same. Please support Boryana corporately, in getting these updated or cleaned. Made it seem very dirty and unkempt. However, the room itself seemed well cared for. Policy is housekeeping every 3rd day, but that puts the onus for needs on the guests and is not enough. When I asked for daily housekeeping, they obliged. Also smelled of old smoke/tobacco upon entry to hotel. Boryana was great and a special shout out to ASHLEY at front desk. She was very customer focused and accommodating, a real gem
