Cougar Land Motel

Really beautiful & affordable; great decor pretty colors; lovely. Friendly front great front desk people and service is really what makes it a spot I would book again after rude service at American inn I could not complain I would choose this place any day over American Travel inn it’s an old building but not noisy.

As many others have shared on here this hotel has the WORST customer service!! Had to cancel for Parent's Weekend that I booked through Hotel.com. When I called them they said they would refund the money. They later said the booking agent had to call them that same day (did not tell me that or I would have ensured they did). When I saw my credit card I then called to find out why since the manager told me she would waive the charge. Long story short she refused to budge even though she originally agreed to refund AND they sold my reservation to someone else so I couldn't even try to transfer it. I understand there is a policy but given that it was for Parent's Weekend they knew they could easily sell my reservation and not be out the money. Instead they are getting my $1000 plus dollars fr

Positive: I actually cannot rate this hotel for cleanliness or the actual interior accommodation. Negative: No notice that the office supposedly closes at 9 o’clock, and when I finally got to speak to the manager, he told me it closes at 8:30. No one there to let me into a room that I have paid for. He lied about sending messages to me. RUDE.

Booked a room here via Super.com for August 4, 2025 (one night, double room), but arrived just after 8:30 PM to a sign saying no check-ins after that time. Sign left a number for already checked in guests only. No one was around, and calls went unanswered. Their own website clearly states office hours until 9 PM, check-in from 3-9 PM, and to call for late arrivals – total contradiction! And there were no warnings of cutoffs in checkin time when we booked on Super.com. Something was going on this weekend so I was forced to book this hotel. My expectations were low but it was better than anticipated. Rooms- Very nice lay out, bed was comfortable, big TV, enjoyed the free water and snack. Room was clean. The only thing I didn't like was there was no desk to work off of. Not conducive to business travel. Made due by moving a round table over to a chair. Loved the no key access to the room. Breakfast- There wasn't any. Priceline listed it as having a free breakfast and it didn't. They did have notification that they do serve it during "events" when in town. Exterior- Nothing good nor bad, just old. Tough getting out of the lot. Staff- Top notch
