Cottonwood Springs RV Resort & Storage

We have stored our trailer at Cottonwood Springs RV & Mini Storage for approximately three years. When we went to retrieve it, we found that both batteries had been stolen from our RV. Although the facility is gated, we learned there are no cameras and no on-site staff living there anymore, which was disappointing to find out after the fact. The theft has cost us about $500 in replacements. Unfortunately, this experience made us feel that our property was not as secure as we expected. I would recommend others take additional security measures if storing items here.

At first my impression was amazing on this park, the lady I spoke to Jonell was super nice. I was told we could move in that Sunday. In which I filled out both my boyfriend and I’s application and sent it in with pictures of our trailer and our drivers license. I called every day morning and afternoon to make sure the process was going through. They kept telling me they will get back to me, either in the morning or afternoon. They never got back to me. It’s been almost 2 weeks since. When someone tells you they can make it work for you to move in a certain day then just doesn’t respond and never calls back is very unprofessional in my opinion. In July, my friend and I decided to lease a lot at Cottonwood Springs RV. Before filling out an application, I disclosed that my friend was a registered offender that was in full compliance. They said it wasn’t a problem when given the details. During the application process, we were asked if there were any felonies, to which I honestly answered ‘yes’ and filled in the details on paper. We also had to pay for background checks (to which I have bank statements for). After we were accepted, we came in to sign the lease and once again disclosed the information. On September 24 I got an email stating that all current residents had to redo the application and background checks. Since I had just done all of that recently, I called the next day to ask if I had to pay for another background check.

This place is brand new. Clean spacious 30’ wide RV spots. All gravel. The view it nice staff nice it is up in a hillside. The office staff “Kathy” is amazing.
