Corduroy Lodge

My family and I immensely enjoyed our stay at The Corduroy. The rooms were so cute and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The coffee shop, Cyclelogical Coffee, served delicious coffee, yummy burritos, and breakfast sandwiches.

Location is fabulous. Atmosphere may have been ok with children but, not adult children. Beds were not comfortable. The Futon and bunk beds were terrible. It was way overpriced for the room. Fairly clean. The small frig really needed to be defrosted and was not very clean. Noise level was very high. We needed to leave the windows open because the heaters although not on were putting out heat from the pilot light. Service was good and the gentleman that helped us was nice and tried to be helpful. Had it not been so expensive we would have been more open to the tight quarters.

We stayed here in the beginning of December. It went down into the 20s that night. There was supposed to be heat but it worked poorly, never getting the space warmer than 66 and at times getting so cold, we woke up to try to fiddle with the mini split in the middle of the night. The hot water never worked and in the morning, the water did not work at all. When we made a request for reparations to the manager, we were told he would “check with management”. I also emailed, to give them a chance to make the situation fair, but never received a response. For these reasons, I would not recommend this business.

DO NOT STAY HERE! I am a local and have stayed here twice while on the other side of town. Both times, we were switched last minute into a unit that we didn't book because 'something is always wrong with the one we booked'. However, that's not the worst of it. I stayed there 2 nights ago and when we arrived, the fire pit was filled with black charcoaled wood that was wet because of snow all over it. We moved the wood out into a small pile on the ground so that we could light a fire with our fresh wood. We even set the charcoal wood around ours to dry it out so that it could burn with ours and get rid of it. By the end of the night, there were 3 pieces of the original charcoal wood left in a tiny pile on the dirt ground. Minutes after leaving in the morning, I get a very passive aggressi

I usually love coming here. However the day of my reservation wasn't as I had hoped for. There was the last guests food still in the fridge, and a bag of their personal items in a cabinet still. The shower was disgusting with hair. After telling the owner through the Airbnb app what issues I ran into all they offered was to come get the food and throw it away for me. They said that the shower was just stained due to the trailer being older, that the shower was cleaned and sorry they missed 1 hair". They made no offer to move us to a clean one. So I went and bought shower cleaner and a brush to clean it myself after spending quite a bit to stay here. Feel free to let the pictures do the rest of the talking here.
