My family had thee most magical stay at Beach Plum Resort. We booked the Hill Barn cottage and my goodness it far exceeded any expectations we had. Beautiful, warm, cozy and stocked with breakfast items to make our lives easy in the AM with two little ones and a beautifully decorated Christmas tree to bring the holiday cheer early. We would absolutely recommend this place to anyone visiting Cape May for the first time or 10th time, it is not a place you want to miss! The staff is beyond kind, accommodating, caring, proactive, and responsive. At check in we were greeted by Gauge who was so sweet, showed us the ropes and lent himself to us to make our stay as seamless as possible. We had the best nights of sleep in a while, which for toddler and infant parents you know that means a lot. The
Very nice staff and employees. Service was good, just not exceptional. The facility was old, but that was to be expected. Bathrooms could use a bit more space for toiletries and hair supplies. The bathroom was not accommodating for two individuals to ready themselves at the same time. We didn’t eat there much, however what we did have was very good.
We just came home from a weekend getaway at Congress Hall. Hopefully, making this a yearly trip! We were on the 3rd floor overlooking the pool (which, KEEP IN MIND, is heated! If my husband had only realized this earlier!) The front desk is very welcoming. The room is warm/cozy. The bedding is luxurious/you sink into. If you will be in and out and not necessarily staying in immediate area, we do not recommend valet parking. There is designated parking for guests to self-park. Make !!reservations!! to wherever you will be eating dinner. There are crowds even in February! And the charm of this hotel is it's age and details! The cockeyed screen doors to each room, the uneven floors, the history pictured on the walls, the monograms on the bedding/carpet. Stay here if you can!
This charming inn has every level of charm, grace, beauty, and exceptional hospitality. This was my first trip to Cape May and I will be back but only to stay here. We loved everything about it - especially the Brown Room, with its delicious cocktails and gorgeous, warm decor. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. The room was supremely comfortable and so thoughtfully appointed. We can’t wait to return!!
What a great old hotel with all the top amenities. Remodeled to feel new but still has the old time charm. Rooms are spacious and very clean. Nice bathrooms and the bedding is tops. The only complaint we had was our room was next to an electrical closet and we kept hearing a motor or heater unit turning on and off throughout the night. The Blue Pig Tavern was top notch for dinner. Very nice bar but on the small side and we weren't able to get a seat on the 2 nights we tried.
