One GEM in the entire business and she unfortunately only worked a few hours at night (hopefully she sees this knows its her and runs, she deserve so much better than that place). "Breakfast area" with the chairs and tables closes at 1000am if you are not out, they kick you. LITERALLY! Had the cops called on us because on Thanksgiving we tried to watch the football game as a family and eat together with our Marine and they didnt like that, so they called the cops to kick us out (cops say this happens all the time and to not ever, ever come back here as this place is a known problem). Advice to NOT stay here not a friendly place at all. Stay at mostly Holiday Inns but this was closer to my son so decided I give a shot. Worse experience ever! Children only walked in room and Im getting call accusing them of running . At thia point Im scared to even let them off the bed! I asked to move to different room and instead get kicked out and police called! I have had custody of these grandkids and stayed in motels for last 6 years and I have never been kicked out. Will continue to pray for this lady. But now I see why the place looked like a ghost town when I went there. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL finished my weekend stay at Holiday Inn 2 minutes up Rd . Location is great for parris island access. Breakfast was decent. Thats about the end of the pros. Door keys failed daily. Management lets kids act like fools in pool area. Hot tub is nice. Pool is ice cold. Rooms smell musty.

They did not clean our room, when we got back at night we had to go ask for towels. We ran out of toilet paper, and the tissue box was already almost empty to start with so we also ran out of tissue. The Hotel itself was very warm in the hallways, and we couldn't keep are room cool. The grounds were also unkept. Very disappointing stay. Would not re-visit.

Relatively clean and updated hotel. Given that so many of the guests were there for graduation at MCRD Parris Island - a fact acknowledged throughout - it would have been nice to open the full breakfast early enough to accommodate. Also, this is the only Choice Hotel in my time as a member that I can recall ever placing a hold for a full night on my card prior to arrival and then also attempt to charge for that night upon arrival. Bathroom fan did not work, handicap rail was loose, and pullout sofa had no linens.
