Comfort Suites Fairgrounds West

The stay in general was good. The staff was very friendly, check-in/check-out easy, and everything was clean. The only two minimal complaints I have is 1) the bed is very high, so getting in and out of it is hard for certain people. And 2) there is only 1 side table on one side of the bed. The other side of bed does not have a night stand or table at all. So if you have two people staying (I was in a room with a king bed so chances are any room with king bed will have at least 2 people staying), then the other person will not have a table to set stuff on. That's important to me, I usually place my phone there, a drink, medicines I need etc. Not sure why but this has been an issue with both stays I've had so far.

You may disregard this review if you’re simply trying to hear about what it’s like to stay here. We were staying at a different hotel just next door some months ago. I stay home with my kids while my husband works. I decided to take my two toddlers out for a walk but was being followed by an incredibly weird and suspicious man. It was so unsafe that even though I was almost to our hotel, I stopped just outside their door and ran into a front desk worker. I frantically explained what was happening and requested to step into the lobby while my husband raced home. It was maybe a 10 minute drive. They refused to let us inside stating they “didn’t want drama.” Ma’am… it’s for the safety of myself and my two children!!! I instead called the police to escort me back to our hotel because they told

I was very impressed with the staff as well as the quality of room and cleanliness. I will stay there again. If I had any negative feedback it would be that it was a little bit noisy. Probably just some bad guests. Other than that, it was amazing. Bed was very comfortable and room was big, especially at the price.

The gal at the check-in counter was awesome. Our original room smelled like someone had been smoking pot previously so she moved us to another room. The 2nd room was very nice. The bed was so comfy. The shower was good, plenty of hot water. The price was very reasonable. The one complaint I have is that, per Expedia, this hotel had a hot tub. They do not have one as they cemented it in.

Don’t stay here. Not only did I get bit by bed bugs. I wet down to the office to let them know and the response I got was there been someone in that room for 10 days left just today with no complaints. I said so your saying someone was in the room for 10 days and I have 4 fresh bites. If I brought them then I would have bites everywhere. I will never go back or use a comfort due to the treatment from this one. First Lady was sweet and nice and when I went to th deal to tell them . They didn’t go to check look nothing . Said oh my goodness I’ll let management know. Then refused to give me my money back. Check the beds before you sleep there
