Comfort Suites Alamo/River walk

I booked this hotel for a trip to San Antonio. I came in on a Tuesday before 4, and the lady at the front desk was very welcoming. The hotel was nice. Our room was clean, cozy, and comfortable. Breakfast is included in the morning, which was definitely a plus. They had a nice selection of food from a few pastry selection, bread, bagels, DIY waffle set up, and cereal. You do have to pay to park at the hotel parking lot. The riverwalk/Mall area is a 16-minute walk from the hotel or 5-6 minutes if you drive. They don't offer vending machines but do have drinks, snacks, Tylenol, and a few other things in their store area. The downside of it they didn't have a big selection of items to choose from.

Comfort Suites Alamo/River Walk in San Antonio, Texas was a great place for mine and my family's vacation! The check in process was quick and easy. The only downside from our stay was the distance from the river walk itself and the hotel is a bit outdated, that is to be expected at this price point. From the time my family and I stepped up to the doors of the property every employee was very kind and helpful! The man who was washing the windows at the time of our arrival made a point to welcome us! The whole property was clean and neat with an inviting atmosphere. The hotel was incredibly accommodating! My fiancé was graduating from Air Force BMT, and I wanted to surprise him by setting up the room—they graciously adjusted my check-in time to make that possible. I also accidentally booked only one night, and Chloe was absolutely wonderful in helping me secure an extra night. She truly went above and beyond and even offered a small discount. The king suite was spacious, the bed was unbelievably comfortable, and the entire experience exceeded my expectations. I would absolutely stay here again!

The hotel is in need for a little refresh but it's fine. Our room was large, clean and comfortable. The staff were helpful and friendly. It's good value for the price. Walking to the Riverwalk takes about 15 minutes from the hotel and we had no issues walking in the evening.|You will hear the highway but that's the case with many of the hotels in the area; and it wasn't so noticeable that we couldn't sleep.|I would stay again.

The lobby area is nice. Could use some refurbishing in the halls and room carpets and couch were pretty stained. It's within walking distance to the Riverwalk which is nice. The area of the hotel is a little sketchy to walk to, especially at night. There are many unhoused people camped adjacent to the parking lot. Beds were comfy. Our room was loud because of proximity to the freeway. Staff was very friendly. Hot tub was nice but pool didn't seem to be heated as advertised.
