Comfort Inn & Suites Waco Woodway

We went to stay New Year’s Eve . We wanted use indoor swimming pool and soak in hot tub during our stay . Well, pool was cold and so was tub ! Cold as ice . Well though disappointed no problem . Then at 1 am smoke alarm sounded off ! I got up checked hallway no emergency situation. Then smoke alarm sounded again at 3 am . I informed front desk . They removed smoke detector and said the battery was low . After looking around the next morning looks like the place needs lots of neglected maintenance ( gutter ,rotten Facia and carpet cleaning ) |In summary the place needs lots maintenance . |Dinning room clean and breakfast food was good!

Amadeus was excellent as I checked in late on Friday. Kayla had already made note of my call that morning to let everyone know that I was going to be extremely late. Everything was covered On Saturday, when I got ready to leave and collect my cash for the cash deposit that I made on Friday night. The desk clerk went to check the room to make sure the room was OK. Excellent job by all the staff including the kitchen staff! I was impressed and will definitely stay again even in spite of the renovations!!

Absolutely horrible place to stay. We work over the road and stay all over and never have any issues. The staff is absolutely horrendous. They violated ADA legalities repeatedly. (Yes, the ADA will be formally notified and legal action will be taken.) The way the staff treats paying customers is absolutely disgusting. If you ask them for anything they give you the rudest response. They sit in the lobby doing nothing but talking and ignoring guests. The hotel was torn up all over. The mattresses are stained and the rooms are in poor condition. The smell walking through the hotel is bothersome.

This hotel is definitely in need of some TLC and updates Carpet smell like there's been a flood. Very Musty smelling. I could not handle the smell in the first room we were assigned, but the second room, different floor was also musty smelling so must be all the rooms? showers need recaulking and the water was barely warm, definitely not hot. The beds were very comfortable and sheets were soft. Ammadeus at the front desk was great and helpful.

The hotel put us on a 2nd story floor that was under construction. My companion who has to wear a leg brace tripped on an area of floor were the carpet had been removed exposing rugged cement. Also my other companion tripped going into the elevator on the second floor because of exposed uneven cement flooring. Only two towels, an tiny bottles of shampoo and conditioner for three persons, in the bathroom. Asked for a handicap walk in shower, got a bathtub. Poor water flow, luke warm water. The hot tube wasn't working. There was a cannabis smell in the hallway with bleach stained carpet out side our room door which was a far walk from the elevator. The room keys would not work on the door coming from the back of the hotel handicap parking. I have pictures of these concering problems that I
