Comfort Inn & Suites Midtown

We stayed here after our train ride on the Verde Canyon Railroad. This hotel is clean, peaceful, remote, and has great views. The continental breakfast is so much more than muffins and juice. All pastries are made in house and offer gluten free, vegan, vegetarian, as well as egg and sausage for protein. Hopi stew was a delicious surprise. The patio is a perfect place to sip coffee while helping the sun rise. If you need the ADA room with roll-in shower, be aware that the installation might be flawed causing a water flow problem. Hopefully it will soon be corrected. But don’t miss this resort quality hotel.

Comfortable bed! Great breakfast! The tub/ shower could use a deep cleaning/ be recaulked with fresh caulk. The toilet cover on the wall could be replaced, very calcified. Overall, good.

All staff i interacted with were incredibly kind and courteous. My room was incredibly comfortable and prepared for me. Housekeeping was flexible and kind. The pool and spa area was very comfortable. Breakfast was accessible and timely. This was an incredibly good vacation.

My wife and I traveled to Ruidoso in April 2025. We stayed at the Comfort Inn and Suites in Midtown. The location was absolutely perfect. Easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. Our room was extremely clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We chose to eat breakfast at the hotel and we were pleasantly surprised to find a hot breakfast of eggs, sausage, hash browns, and a variety of complementary sides. We definitely will be staying here again on our next visit to Ruidoso.

People are friendly. Beds comfortable. Good location. Hotel is a bit rundown for the price though. Pool/hot tub out of service. Rooms facing parking lot have too much light at night. Leaking bath tub. Scuffed furniture. Missing paint. Had to wait to check in.
