Riverview RV Park Ruidoso

This is the place to park you rig in Ruidoso! Pick a river view site, you will not regret it. Jason and his wife run the most picturesque campground we have seen. It is so close to Midtown, and 2 River Park you can literally walk to them. The river crossing this campground is perfect for fishing. The waters are so clear!!! We had made a week reservation but after being there 2 days we just had to extend out stay to 2 weeks. Come stay at River View RV Park it will not dissapoint!!!!

This was a really clean park with a well lite covered gathering place and tall beautiful pine trees. We had a site that backed up to the Rio Ruidoso River flowing on the back side of the park. We saw deer and elk wander into the park. It is really close to downtown located right on Sudderth Dr./Hwy 48, 3 blocks from Twin Rivers Park & walking trail and about a mile west of Hwy 70. There are small sites but are some to accommodate 40’ RV’s. A really relaxing week long stay. Jason, the owner was friendly and extremely accommodating. He is in the process of adding one or two more sites.

We loved our stay at Riverview RV. The location was perfect. It was very close to restaurants and shopping. When you walked to the back of the property with the river, trees and wildlife it was magical. We spent hours relaxing in the meadow area by the river watching elk and deer and hummingbirds. The hosts were very sweet and helpful. We have already booked our next trip!

The sites are entirely too small. We could walk down our steps and were a foot or 2 from another RV that was being stored next to ours. I was told the owners like to make the most because of taxes being high. It looks like they took 1 campsite and turned it into 2. We also didn't have a concrete pad. It looks like there are a few concrete pads, but not all as the website says. Jason was very accommodating and actually moved the RV next to ours so we had some space. He also helped my husband get into this tight spot. The park was beautiful on the river. Unfortunately due to space size, we will not be back unless we could be assured we would have the space next to ours open.

This RV park is a jewel. So many places to choose in this area and I lucked out by booking this one. The park owner, Jason, has gone above and beyond. The site I have is surrounded by trees and a stream. There have been deer showing up every afternoon. I highly recommend this park. You can’t go wrong here. I stayed for 3 nights. Thank you Jason.
