Comfort Inn & Suites Fort Walton Beach - Destin West

The room was great, room, staffing, atmosphere but the breakfast. You will need to go somewhere else for your breakfast. It is horrible. Milk was sour, breads and muffins, stale, cereal old and tough. Sausage did not taste like sausage. Pan sausage limp, rubbery, no taste. Entire food line was bad.

Positive: Breakfast lady was great. Negative: Aircondioner didn't work.changed rooms. Curtain overhang was falling sown. Our lives were at risk. Pool and spa not working same thing as 2 yrs ago. The check in girl had only been there 3days and had no help. with Wifi didn't work. Will not stay again

I’m going to start this off by saying this is the worst experience I have EVER had in my life with a hotel. Purely a joke. For starters my room smelled like piss. My card keys never worked. Was told pool was open could never enter. Now management. Completely rude and unprofessional. I was over charged for my deposit. Then they double charged me for destination fee. So a total of 142.80. I was told it was supposed to be 100. It’s been a month and I still haven’t been refunded and they wont. They are claiming that they released the money which they haven’t. My bank is saying the money has not been released. I’ve called choice hotels and they agree it is the hotel as well. After calling many times I finally got ahold of the “manager” judging by the lack of knowledge from her I truly don’t thi

The best thing about the hotel is the location to beaches and shopping. The staff was friendly, and the tv was nice. That's about it! A strong moldy, smoky smell 'punched' you upon entering the building. It wasn't cleaned - probably in a few weeks. Almost everything was old, broken and rusty. Breakfast was horrible. The staff had no idea that the dryer was broken. There needs to be a lot of improvement before we return.

Me and my family stayed at this hotel when we came down to Fort Walton for a family wedding. The hotel was easy to find, the lobby was very clean and front desk staff very friendly. The breakfast was good for a hotel made breakfast. If I had to find one issue it was simply the pool hours which were 12p-9p. But we weren’t upset by them. Just wished we had longer, but it was also off season. So all in all I give five stars bc they were friendly, always acknowledging our kids and us when we came back from the beach or from being out.
