Comfort Inn Savannah Midtown

First, and most important, the elevator did not work ! Even though there has been efforts to remodel this location,it's age is really starting to show, bubbled and peeling paint, worn carpet, closet doors that are very hard to open and then can't get them opened all the way. There was no way for my wife to take a bath " no way to close the drain off to fill the tub" On the plus side, the staff was very nice👍 the breakfast bar was Good and the coffee was Hot, Thank You.

Location great service great housekeeping was lacking. Neither of my bed linens appeared fresh. There was sticky stuff on the counter like it was never wiped down. As a former housekeeper I may appear biased with this statement but I shouldn’t be able to tell someone slept in the room before I did. Elevator is out other than that staff is great the hotel as a whole was clean and in a convenient location. Great front desk staff

My mother and I were driving through to South Florida and stopped in Savannah. It was late at night, the staff was pleasant. The elevator did not work and our room was on the 3rd floor. The beds were clean and comfortable but the room was truly gross. We didn’t take showers and left as soon as we got up. We drove 14 hours and we were exhausted, otherwise we would have left.

I absolutely loved the open layout of the hotel. No walking down dingy hallways to get to your room. The 2 queen bedroom suite was huge! A sitting roo.m included a couch, chair, and desk. The room was clean and appeared to be freshly painted and semi updated. The beds were comfortable. ||My reason for not giving it a 5 star review:|1. Unfortunately the elevator was not working and our room was on the third floor. I understand mechanical issues happen so I wasn't bothered with that. Much to my surprise we were not offered a discount for the inconvenience considering the nightly rate was only 3% off the regular rate room rate. |2. Housekeeping could do a better job. There was a coffee pod left in the coffee machine and only enough for one person to have coffee. The ceiling to floor beauti
