Comfort Inn Owatonna near Medical Center

Was very disappointed in the HOT TUB (or should I say Luke-warm Tub). The resaon for our stay here ws that they had a Hot Tub ( as the pools often are too cold at comfort inns) First Night it was Barely Luke-warm (not hot at all) but OK to sit in for a while. The next day it was COLD- (so much so we didn't go in beyond our feet getting wet) The Hotel itself was nice and breakfast area was good- Just very disappointed as we were looking forward to a getway with a Hot Tub to relax.

I was EXTREMELY disappointed the last time I stayed here. When we arrived, the key card system was down. There was only 1 employee working and she had to let everyone into their rooms manually. We were having a party that evening in the party room and needed to go in and out of the rooms frequently which did not work out well. The pool was also broken (and had been for multiple days) when we arrived. The pool was the primary reason we have chosen this location for our gathering so this was extremely frustrating. Also, there were smelly bags of garbage just left in the hallway and the entrance smelled like a small animal had died there. The one redeeming fact was that the single employee working (who was also new to the job) tried VERY hard to do as much as she could to help us and make up

Stayed there for three months for work and was taken care of very well. Clean rooms and nice breakfast in the mornings! Very happy with my stay

I like the hotel but this time around the key card encryptor wasn't working upon arrival. The counter employee did extremely well with what she was encountering (having to let everyone in their rooms, disseminating key cards when system was restored). The pool, hot tub area also wasn't open which was disappointing to say the least.

I’m a long time Diamond Choice Hotel Rewards Member with close to 1000 stays at Choice Hotels including dozens within this Comfort Inn of Owatonna MN. They recently adopted a policy here that requires you allow them to photo copy your drivers license when checking in. As a loyal Choice customer I have only ever once allowed this to happen. By submitting my license and company credit card information that ONE TIME it allowed my information to be stolen and used in a case of fraud. This new requirement is a deal breaker for me. I will assuredly NEVER allow my drivers license to be photo copied again. It was a nightmarish ordeal when it happened. Obviously booking through the Choice APP they have all the information they need. I have zero problems with them verifying my license and or havi
