Best Budget Inn / Hi-Way Liquor

Wish I could give -0 star. The man is extremely rude and money hungry. The floors were moist. Room had mildew smell. I’m pretty sure the bedding hadn’t been changed or washed when I checked in. The bedding was filthy as was the shower. The towels had holes in them. There were hairs in the bed. I felt dirty staying there. I talked to the woman that works there and asked if they were gonna update the rooms or do anything about the condition of the room and she said what’s wrong with it. I told her it’s filthy. She walked away from me. I’m sure they’re not allowed to open this place to guests with the rooms in this condition .

The owners will double charge want Cash no amenities,no t.p no coffee tacky wet floors,dirty toilets,really old and mildew all over.its a 20 $room for 70. Go next door,super 8.

This place was AWFUL. Do NOT stay here. I could go on and on, but some of the worst things were, spiders, spider webs, horribly stained chair and carpet, unwashed bedding with hairs left on pillowcases, no working WIFI or TV. The man at the desk kept spitting tobacco into the garbage behind him. I asked him the rates and he didn’t answer and made me sign the form BEFORE he wrote down the price, which was $60 more than on any of the booking sites. Then, when we left the next morning, not using the second night, he just said No Refunds and simply told me the WIFI and TV were working. I didn’t want to argue, but now I’m reporting him to BBB and Discover.

Well guy was nice untill check out. First the site and YouTube video I have seen is wrong about this place there is no coffee pot in room and no breakfast. The rooms do not look like the pictures it's extremely run down . There was a fist size hole in the carpet. Out let's were all lose and my bf got shocked every time he plugged some thing in. Not to mention one of the laps on the wall cord was basically hold together with tape. They apparently expect you to be house keeping too. Because before you leave they want you to clean the bathroom and toilet. Most places do that usually places just expect you to clean out the mini fridge and trash which we did. Well I did enjoy my first two stays here at 58 bucks a night. You sort of can’t beat that. The rooms smell clean look clean and very spacey. The owner doesn’t really speak much English so that was sort of hard to deal with but it was so able. Our 3rd stay here we had car problems and they were really nice about us being there fixing it. The fourth stay however we noticed roaches on the bathroom door killed them and went for a pizza came back and there were then roaches on the bed and one on the actual pillow. There was no way I could stay overnight in this room. At first we asked to be switched and I guess that wasn’t possible so I asked for a refund and that was also a issue.
