Comfort Inn North - Air Force Academy Area

My brother and his small family stayed in one room; I was down the hall. Nicely, the windows opened :) For my brother, that was great since their room faced the river and mountains. For me, that was just constantly listening to an always busy, full blown throughway. Can’t win ‘em all, I suppose. Not sure why my room was considerably more expensive tho. The pool was closed for what, they hinted at, was all foreseeable moments. The “gym” was a closet they managed to stack a few machines in. Room service was a food truck in the parking lot. Okay… I don’t want to seem like a snob, but oof. Breakfast was pretty good, daily room cleaning should have been great, but the room was mildly dusty/dirty when I got there and continued to accumulate as no one cleaned it for the four nights I staye

Positive: The room was more spacious and luxurious than I was expecting for the price. The hot breakfast was a huge bonus and the snack bar was very convenience and VERY reasonably priced. It was easy on and off the freeway. GREAT staff!!! Negative: It needs some attention outside. The street number, for instance, was hanging crookedly on the front of one of the pillars. The weeds were overgrown. It doesn't look as nice as it is from the outside.

Visiting Colorado for the very first time, we stayed two nights in the Comfort Inn North at Colorado Springs. While it was mostly a good stay, the hotel looked tired and our room could have definitely done with a renovation. ||We actually arrived a little early and Vanessa, working the front desk, went over and above to see that we got rooms. She was also super helpful with things to see and places to eat. More on that later. There were four of us, renting two rooms. Our room was definitely more dated with the rugs looking dirty and the furniture in not good shape. The bathroom was ok but the toilet was not a comfort height toilet. Word cannot express how surprised we were to enter our room at this property at such a scenic location. Staff were friendly and helpful. The pet friendly rooms showed their true feelings for those traveling with their furry friends.

I do a lot of choice hotels. There were bad reviews so had avoided it. The reviews were wrong. Front desk was great. Coffee and water in lobby and rooms were clean and up to date. Pool was being refurbished. Did not do breakfast as had early checkout.no voucher guests was safe not far for food
