Comfort Inn Humboldt Bay

Indoor pool and jacuzzi was a main highlight, especially with the rain and cold in Humboldt. Breakfast was also super good and filling, quality ingredients and well maintained and family friendly dining areas. Huge fan of the lemon infused water in the lobby and the staff had great knowledge and suggestions for food options at any time of the day. Would stay again, and recommend to any families that want to be close to eureka but also be in a more safe and family friendly area

The room was well set up, I enjoyed having a comfortable sitting area. A jetted tub was a bonus, I enjoyed using it. Plugs for my phone charger on the lamps. Pleasant front desk staff, and great variety in the free breakfast. Great value.

Hotel was nice , well maintained. Safe. And very accessible for me in my wheelchair. Staff was nice and pleasant. It had a indoor heated pool that my 10 year old enjoyed.

I did not find our stay satisfactory, within 1 hour of our check in we found a roach within our room. We spoke with the staff that assured us we could speak with management regarding a refund. We called and spoke with a manager which then said she was a assistant manager and refused to discuss any refunding issues stating that any pests on the property are brought in from guests even though we had photographic and physical evidence. We tried to reach out to the owners Shailesh and Jay Patel but we have not received any response.

Location is convenient and its pretty quiet. Beds are comfortable. Elevator is not near a handicap ramp but way in the back of the hotel near the stairs - no ramp to take the bell hop cart to the elevators. Ice machine located only on first floor. Back parking lot can be tricky to navigate if you have a long vehicle. Do not recommend trailers! Breakfast is nice with a variety + hot eggs and meat. Fruit and cereals available along with yogurts and the waffle station is pretty awesome. Staff is friendly
