Comfort Inn Chattanooga Downtown Southside

Stopped here as it was just off the highway and on our way to tampa. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. However, all of the staff we interacted with seemed to have very poor attitudes, except for the woman thay was behind the counter when we checked out the following morning- she was very sweet. The food in the morning was... pretty gross to be honest. Burnt sausage, burnt eggs. The man that was responsible for the breakfast was giving everyone the side eye and didn't seem happy to be there, the attitude made me not want to spend any more time down there than necessary so went back up to eat in the room. Overall, decent place to stay if you dont plan on interacting with the staff that much.

The hotel is clean and the staff are very helpful and friendly. The young man on the front desk on Dec 31st went above and beyond to make sure we were happy in our room with our cat! The only recommendation I would have is to include some fresh fruit at breakfast.

We went for an overnight trip for my birthday. The room was clean, the staff friendly. It wasn’t really anywhere with any kind of view. I expected more downtown-ish I guess. The bed wasn’t very comfortable but that’s usually a preference for people. Our toilet made a very strange noise while filling up so that was weird in the middle of the night. The space in the bathroom was well utilized. A corner sink gave more room in there but also had plenty of space to put our toiletries. There were also shelves on the bottom so it really made a difference. The shower head was great. Breakfast was another story. Eggs, WELL overcooked sausage, the waffle batter barely came out and after we made waffles (finally) was kind of soured or something. It was the plain batter. The milk was either about to

I was a little skeptical after seeing bad reviews. We stayed and were very pleased. The beds were super comfy and the hotel appears very clean. There is a little interstate noise, but overall much quieter than other hotels I've stayed at. We will definitely stay again!
