Comfort Inn Camp Verde I-17

My family and I stayed here from January 16th to the 18th. The first night, I was barely able to sleep due to the temperature of the rooms being too hot and the AC thermostat not really working and something in there triggering my allergies. At breakfast, the coffee machine and juice machines were broken and the attendant made it clear he was making the last pot of coffee at 8:30 AM. The waffle machine looked like it hadn’t been clean in a while. I know this isn’t a 5 star hotel, but the breakfast experience was below standard. The second night I asked the staff for fresh sheets and was able to get a better sleep. We had two queen beds but only used one because I always inspect the beds for bed bugs prior to establishing ourselves in the room and the bed we didn’t sleep on had a red-ish

Well out toilet was broken walking into the room. So switched rooms the shower didn’t drain. Both rooms the tv was so blury that it wasn’t watchable. It had a bunch of holes in the bathroom wall. The bed was uncomfortable. Look I know what I’m getting for cheap money but this was bad a year or two we stayed here it was bad but they supposedly remodeled, nope. I would never stay here again. This is a 50 dollar hotel room max,not 100.

Needs a working key card programmer machine!! I won't stay here again. Staff are very friendly and helpful, but there were MANY PROBLEMS WITH THE HOTEL. When I checked in on Monday, Dec 29, staff were very nice, but after four times of them programming my room key card and it not working when I tried to open the door, and confirming that the problem was neither the card nor the door, but the card programmer machine, the employee had to come up with a creative but ultimately not ideal solution. I certainly appreciated it as otherwise I would not have been able to get into my room, but it probably wasn't the best for the employee. And from talking to other guests, it sounds like they had the exact same problem. So the problem is widespread and probably not new as an employee said the program

There is a number of issues on this stay that I find unacceptable.This is one of the most disappointing experiences I've ever had at a comfort inn. There was no hot breakfast even though that's one of the things I come to expect when I go to one of these hotels. When we walked up to our room the door was completely wide open and propped as well as some other rooms were as well. We went inside and checked to make sure no one was in there and then closed the door. The room had no towels in it whatsoever and I had to go down to ask for some and notice a number of details, and how the room was maintained which is it wasn't. I noticed the blinds were broken. We were met with an awesome front desk personal. Everything after that was just ok. The TV channels were not displayed and not too many channels to choose from. Breakfast they did have eggs, YEAAAAAA. Only bacon, waffle, 3 choices cereal, oranges apples, instant oatmeal, breads, yogurt. The pool is not heated and the hot tub not working. Oh the other plus was a fitness center, small but you can get a work out, it was nice! Walking distance to over 5 eating establishments. I just really appreciate the staff and prices.
