Distant Drums RV Resort

The staff were friendly, the facilities were nice and well-kept, and the views were amazing. Across the street are also miles and miles of trails owned by the forestry service that make for a great place to take a walk through nature.

This will be a mixed review - first, the staff at this campground is awesome! Sergio could not have been more helpful when we called and booked the reservation, and Rick was just plain awesome in his helpfulness. This facility is located right next to the interstate, so there is a lot of traffic noise, which is to be expected, no problem. The clubhouse was first rate. The shower facilities, while a little dated, were just perfect for our needs. We stayed one night and used one of the pull-through slots. The slab was not even close to being level. Here is my frustration - they put us next to a camper who had parked going the wrong way into their site, which caused all kinds of frustrations. Our slideouts were literally one foot apart. They could barely get outside their door without ducking

Distant Drums RV Park was a wonderful stop! It is well-kept and has lots of amenities. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay so much!

BEWARE!!! I was falsy imprisoned and accused of theft by a campground host on a power trip after staying there for three nights. Long story: I stayed there for three nights then dumped my tanks before I left. When I was finished and about to leave this guy rolled up on me like a cop, blocked me in, falsely imprisoning me, and accused me of being a thief and not paying to dump. After I told him that I was a guest and he was holding me prisoner he would not stop trying to intimidate me by staring at me non-stop. So I decided to take the issue to the office, he must have been scared of the man in the office because he went from attack dog to tiny chihuahua with his tail between his legs and he changed his story saying that he came up to me nicely and asked me if I had paid and that I had said
