Comfort Inn Auburn-Worcester

This by far has been the worst hotel that I have ever stayed in. The woman Doreen at the desk was extremely rude when my husband and myself checked in. I paid $110 for 1 night with the expectation of having Wi-fi which they advertise. I could not get on the internet. When I went to the front desk and asked why I couldn’t get on it it was saying my credentials didn’t match their records. The woman Doreen was extremely rude and said follow the piece of paper she gave me. I told her I did and she said I don’t know that’s what they told her to give us. When checking in she asked for my credit card for incidentals and said she was taking $100. When I checked my account she took $120 then an additional $2.74. Which I know is illegal to take more than told. I was here for business and needed the

We stayed 2 days. Room not checked on day 1 was so weird. Kleenex not refilled, yes empty. No new towels. No new coffee products ! Garbage not emptied. I made the bed no problem ! Yes, it's nice to have less traffic in the room but the flip side is give the customer a checklist to fill out and do it quickly. Make the customer feel good about being there. Hands off is Not always Good ! ☆☆ coffee and hot water is always available in the lobby. Breakfast is really good ! The time is a Bit SHORT. 6a => 9a M - F ... how about another hour ? I also asked the efficient worker at breakfast if there was a public bathroom on the 1st floor. She couldn't speak a word of English. I have no issues with her work in that room as she is efficient. BUT a spry, older lady in the room left her bagel

The staff is great. The location to Worcester is convenient and safe. The room could be cleaned better, especially the bathroom. But overall very comfortable. The wifi is not very fast at 10Mbps especially doing work video conference. For my second night, there was so much weed smell in the hallway that I had to use towels stuffed under the door to keep the smell from coming into the room. Not sure what management can do about it.

When I checked in, the person at the front desk was very friendly and welcoming. The inn itself was very clean and inviting. It has a "coming home after a long day" feel to it, which I'm sure takes stress off of people who travel often. Keep up the good work!

When we walked in (after a difficult 10 hour drive) a staff member who looked and who’s attitude matched that of Myra Gulch (the Wicked Witch of the West in Wizard of Oz) intercepted us. If you want to retain your customers this person should NOT be the front face of this hotel. She scowled at us when we walked in & was clearly irritated that we were needing to be checked in. We then had a problem in the room with the air running but were too afraid of how she would treat us if we asked for help so the room was stuffy and uncomfortable all night. This worker also double charged us (we found out the next morning and we were told by another staff member) that the check in nasty person could clearly see we had already paid and that staff member dod this intentionally to be just evil.
