Columbia Inn Shelter

Totally a roomy and clean inn. The parking is covered and right out front of the rooms. It was affordable and its pretty chill vibes. The desk attendent was super nice too. Easy to talk to. (: i will deffinitly stay here again on my next visit.

Hard beds, thin pillows, hear every vehicle that drives by on the main road, bath tub and toilet needs a serious scrubbing as well as the bathroom vent, walls and back of front door. You will also hear your neighbours talking in the rooms next door. Sheets were nice, 2 ply toilet paper, lots of hot water, mini fridge, small coffee maker and bedside lamps with plug ins for ease of charging devices.

Only good thing is where it's at. It is close to downtown and everything the city has to offer. It is a half way house for the homeless in the area. Very sketchy walking past there at night always weirdos sitting out front staring at you. Every time I pass the office there is either someone inside taking a nap or stuck with their nose in their phone not paying attention to anything.

Check the AC/heater first and foremost. Mine was making a really annoying high pitch squeal, to the point you couldn't even be in the room let alone sleep. 😵‍💫 The person working the office was really great both at check in and when we discovered the issue. She explained that they are working on replacing the units, but didn't have another room. Luckily it was actually warm at the cost, I know right 😁 and they had a box fan in the office that she let us use in the window. The room it self was really clean, cleaner than a lot of places I've be for two or three times the price. To was small but perfectly adequate. Overall it is a nice roadside place to stay the night, that is walking distance to downtown, and stumbling distance back from the breweries that are on the waterfront🍺, for a great

A great place on the Oregon Coast to get your life back on track. Being homeless is extremely challenging daily sometimes hourly. This hotel turned emergency shelter truly was a life saver for me. Ive never been in this situation and didn't know what to expect. Cheryl the sweet lady that is in charge did an amazing job hiring the staff that helps and interacts with the residents. Extremely kind human beings with great hearts. They helped me out immensely overall with food, laundry, fresh towels, sheets. To me the best was how they just by treated me like a regular human beign. I didn't once feel looked down upon, or judged. That by itself really warmed my heart. When homeless interacting with the general public, many times it makes life much harder and discouraging. Here at the Columbia I
