Hotel Elliott Astoria

A luxurious hotel in a rather surprising location! The rooms were smaller than expected but luxurious - don’t miss out on the heated floors in the restrooms. The service here is top notch. If you get a chance, get a glass of wine (or beer) and head to the rooftop. The hotel really was a magical place during this trip. We’ll be back for next year's festival at Fort George.

This is an older hotel which is why we selected it, our room was comfortable and clean, no issues as reported by other recent reviews. Reception staff were present and helpful whenever we passed by. Parking could have been an issue but there are plenty of free spaces on adjacent streets even if the car park nearby is full. We loved the rooftop terrace and fire pit and spent a pleasurable evening watching the sunset and chatting with our fellow satisfied guests.|Location was good for bars and restaurants.|We were not keen on the breakfast but as Europeans, sugary cereals, pancakes and waffles are not our first choice and are common no matter where we are in the US.

Our room, the rooftop views, and the location were all great. Entire place has a rustic/cozy vibe. Good breakfast included. Parking wasn't a big deal, just have to find a street spot and pay attention to the signs. Front desk service was minimal, which is fine by me. We would stay again

We were incredibly disappointed by our stay at Hotel Elliot. The lack of hospitality was astounding. And the cleanliness of our room made me question all of their cleaning habits. Upon arriving the welcome was less than impressive, they gave us our room and as soon as we walked in we noticed the room wasn’t cleaned or flipped at all….so we returned to the front desk to ask for a different room. Got our new room, but was still disappointed by the cleanliness of our “clean room”. There was a dirty robe in the closet, hair in the tub and on the bathroom floor, the mirror was dirty, and their was hair in the bed and, what appeared to be, an ink/pen stain on the bed linen. We informed the front desk of the conditions and he had a housekeeper go in to do a “touchup”. Well when we got back to our
