Colonial Motel-Chesapeake

Place is full of bugs. Live there for almost a year and had to fight off bugs and spiders and mice. My room the lights flickered because they were connected to three separate buildings. He had regular people not electricians come out to fix the wiring in a house. Anything that he could do to not have to pay for the actual price he would have crack kids be plumbers and electricians. He was also turning garages and sheds and two rooms without any kind of license or permits.

Stayed here one week and it was terrible. Roaches everywhere, electricity kept going in and out. G, man in office put me out because I told him he had an electrical problem and there’s no smoke detectors in any of the rooms. This man really called the police to have me leave the property cause I told him about his establishment. Worst customer service ever. Literally had to buy raid just to sit in this room. The shower was dirty can’t run ac and microwave at the same time cause it knocks the power in room 121a out and two other rooms as well.

The owner is in the process of cleaning up & renovating rooms at this location. We've been in a renovated room, freshly painted, new tile floors vs the old carpet in the other ones. Has sink, microwave, & refrigerator. Bathroom has sink & cabinet, new shower, a window, & a shelf. Mattress is covered with a bed bug insulated covering (so safe & clean).. front desk is on point. You've got your privacy here, which is nice.

Best price in Chesapeake but that's because of the low quality, my room had mold on the ceiling, the ac dripped on carpet so it smelled like mildew, there's only one house keeper who barely cleans, there was caps and other drug items under the bed, behind, fridge and dresser, I had to clean my room top to bottom. The roaches tried to take over at night, there's a lot of prostitution going on there and the other weekly/monthly residents are constantly in your business and will hound you soon as you pull in parking lot. This place would be really great if they updated inside of rooms and got actual housekeepers to clean and if the manager actually did something when you filed a complaint.

Dirty, nasty, scary, I got my car broken into at this location and the owner did nothing to help. Roaches everywhere. Dirty rooms with mysterious brown stuff on the walls. Sheets and pillow cases with blood and wtvr else on them...shower is gross and falling apart...correction the whole bathroom is gross and literally falling apart and the rooms are small with a high chance the TV won't work and the refrigerator is dirty and small and the microwave is old and dirty and has roaches LIVING IN the microwave....smh this is the last stop before the homeless shelter.
