Coconut Palms Beach Resort II, an Ascend Collection Hotel

Really enjoyed the stay. Well located and walkable to Flagler. Nice pools and staff was incredibly friendly. Rooms were nice, just a little outdated. But still very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Would definitely stay there again.

What a great two month stay we have had here at Coconut Palms Ii. We arrived extremely late on our check-in day but were able to check in and get into our room with absolutely no issue. The service here is fantastic. It is evident that the manager, Karen has spent time to create a team that works together extremely well and is laser focused on taking care of the customer. I would try to single out one or two members of the staff, but would be doing injustice to the rest of the crew as they all are tops! Had a minor issue with the lock on the door but maintenance came immediately to fix it. The beach is literally in the backyard, but we found it hard to leave the heated pool. We have stayed here several times and have noticed that each year they have been busy updating all of the rooms. M

Do not book here. I booked to stay at the Coconut Palms Beach Resort II with my sister, family, and friends for her wedding. I booked a 2/2 suite and expected a beachside ‘resort’. But upon checking into the front desk, I was very displeased to see it look like one of the motels in Kissimmee, very run down. Bad paint job in the lobby. I was shocked at the lack of care of this lobby. Overall I was expecting a resort. At least a hotel. They said they own 5 properties and booked me 3 hotels down. The resort booking was a motel called Royal Palms!!!!!!!! A walk up, motel experience. At a different place. It is giving The Florida Project. Upon walking into the room, it was very musky smelling. Room was nice, location perfect, if you wanted Ice you had to ask front desk for it, if you needed trash bag—front desk again. The people at front desk super nice. Just some of the amenities normally get in places like this didn’t. However, that won’t stop me from coming back. Overall it was a great experience. Place is right on beach and does have private beach and cabanas. Also place to grill.
