Cobblestone Hotel & Suites - McCook

Hotel is clean and quiet, and room was comfortable and clean. Bed was comfortable and not too soft and not too firm. Breakfast had a lot of selections; among the selections were two types of omelets which were delicious and sausage which was very good. Hotel personnel are always personable and professional. Highly recommend this hotel!

At check in: Rather than taking my word for it, they had me initial a form saying I did not have other guests with me, I did not have a pet, I did not smoke, and that I would be initially charged for a safe that I told them I would not use. They stated on that same form that the use of a debit card was not recommended while at the same time charging an extra $100 on that card. The check in clerk stated it was to cover items I might purchase. That appears to be a lie since the Check out clerk said it was to cover any damages I did to the room and it would take up to two weeks to remove the charges. They did not trust me to tell them I would not use the safe when I checked in but the Check out clerk trusted me when I told them I did not use the safe. I will never stay at Cobblestone again.

Positive: The pool and breakfast was nice. There a room to get drinks, food and games!!! The price was awesome too. Negative: A hot tub would of been nice but the pool temperature was perfect.

Rooms are ok besides the shower having low pressure. The hot breakfast weekdays was just eggs and a meat. Looks like they may offer more on weekends because of the sausage gravy container and a second food warmer above the eggs. You smell the pool upon entering the building. The pool is small and no hot tub.

Very clean Establishment. Great reception and room was clean and ready. Very good Breakfast also. Check out was simple and very friendly
