Coastal Waters Life

Dropped into CW to visit friends staying there and the complex is definitely looking its age. Some rooms were nicely fitted and decorated but others were tired and in need of refurbishment. I'm told the pool was warm and I could see the site was kept clean so thats good.

Please, do yourself a favor and steer very clear of this nasty dump! It is horrific! Falsely advertised as it looks NOTHING like the pics online, way overpriced and honestly should be condemned!||I am in process of trying to get reimbursed because it was so bad and is a definite health hazard for multiple reasons. It has been severely water damaged and the owner has not fixed anything. I have never stayed at a worse hotel. ||First, upon arrival, the foul odor in the lobby nearly knocked us over. That was the first indicator that it was not going to be good. Once we got in our room, (which was a struggle due to the corrosion on the door keypad) what we found inside the unit was deplorable. Positive: It's in the town I like. Negative: I had to wait 4 hours for a door code, the door code machine kept breaking, the stairs were falling apart, the gutter was hanging off the roof, the landscaping was unkempt and there was no parking.

This is on the beach. Rooms appear clean at first then you notice the dead bugs in cabinets. Roaches and bugs crawling on bedroom floor. I knew I would not be able to sleep. Was told I might could get a different room tomorrow. I left. I do not recommend staying here.
