Coastal Hotel & Suites Virginia Beach - Oceanfront

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Coastal inn & suites Virginia Beach. From start to finish, the staff were consistently kind, courteous, and genuinely helpful. A special shout-out to the general manager, Neil—he is amazing. Extremely accommodating, attentive, and clearly cares about guest experience in a real, human way. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, and despite ongoing renovations, the staff went above and beyond to make sure my stay was smooth and comfortable. Any extra needs I had were handled with ease and kindness, which honestly made all the difference. Excellent service, great continental breakfast, and top-tier cleanliness thanks to an incredible team. I will absolutely return!

Breakfast staff (Bonnie) was the friendliest and sweetest staff of our trip 😊 Room view is incredible with a sunrise and sunset right out your window 🌅 Walls are very thin and towels and blankets not as fluffy as we would have liked (first world problems!) Thanks!

We stayed 3 nights in a 2 king bed suite and thoroughly enjoyed our time with Coastal. The free breakfasts have a wide range of food and drink to choose from. Mini waffles or pastries? They have them. Fresh fruit or yogurt check! Wide variety of coffees and juices, cereals, meats, eggs and more. There is a well appointed gym, and a pool and hot tub. We look forward to returning in the future.

Our stay was amazing! The hotel was super clean and very quiet — everything felt fresh and well taken care of. From the reservation process to the front desk team, everyone was friendly and welcoming. Alicia, the lady who cleaned our room, was exceptional and very attentive. Pawnee from the breakfast area was also wonderful! On our first day, she came over to check if everything was good and later surprised us with a little gift from the hotel for our birthday weekend — such a thoughtful touch! The young men keeping the breakfast trays full were also very polite and helpful. Overall, the whole team made our stay feel special. Definitely recommend this place!

The room was very cold, the size was decent. We got a king size bed The pillows are the size of throw pillows... and the best was very hard. The shower head didnt have good pressure. We checked in around 7pm and the doors were locked with a know saying use your key to get in... we didnt have a key yet so got stuck outside in the winter store for a few mins till someone came back to the front desk saw us and finally let us in.
