Customer Reviews
My family and I have had nothing but phenomenal experiences at the transplant house. Due to my impending transplant and other medical complications, I’ve had to spend almost 3 months at the house. The staff is courteous, caring and helpful and they take pride in maintaining the facility. Everything is extremely well maintained and if you have any issues that come up, the team takes care of it right away. The house is about a 15-20 minute walk to the Perelman Center and you have the option of the free shuttle service to and from the hospital.
It is truly a blessing to have a place like this to come.. very clean staff have amazing bedside manner. Comfortable and relaxing. I felt very safe and comfortable in my room. Spacious areas. The bathroom was very spacious, and room for my hygiene products to be stored under sink. If I could give 10 stars, I would. I recommend this place for anyone having a transplant at penn Medicine. My mother stayed here for a night while I was in the ICU post hepatic transplant, and they were incredibly accommodating and understanding. Designed to be a place of comfort for patients and their families receiving transplant related treatment. PLEASE consider donating or otherwise volunteering/supporting this organization; they're an amazing resource to have when you and your family are going through a very difficult experience.
I was a guest in February 2022 along with my brother who needs a transplant. The distance to the hospital is a 15min drive in the worst traffic and with some very early appts that is a blessing. The University of Pennsylvania staff from the staff at the house to security guards at the hospital are always helpful, pleasant, and extremely capable. They will go out of their way to ensure your experience is a great one. Having access to other people who are going through recovery from a transplant and their loved ones was a blessing I didn't expect. The guests recipient's and their loved ones are a wealth of knowledge and very open about their experience. The rooms were clean and comfortable. There are restaurants nearby. Its a great location. I cannot say enough about the staff. They made a l
My family members went to reserve a room and keeps getting harassed by the staff. Last time they stayed here, my 2 children and I went to have dinner with them. We were respectful, cleaned up afterward, etc. They claimed someone complained about the noise, which occurred around 6pm by my 1 & 2 year olds. Now they say we are no longer welcome here. We never had issues before this man began running it. We had been there several times since 2012, when a nice lady ran the place, and there was never an issue. I don’t know this man, but I’m ashamed of him and how he has treated us.
