Club Wyndham Royal Garden at Waikiki

We've been owners and have been using my Dad's ownership since 2010 and this property is one of our favorites-- mainly because of the awesome staff. We've stayed here several times during the last few years and the staff is very friendly, attentive and go the extra mile to make sure you have what you need. The rooms are clean, have super comfortable beds and come with a kitchenette. The pool is now heated which is a plus and the location is perfectly close to Waikiki and within walking distance to shops and restaurants on Kalakaua. I highly recommend this location. If you valet your car, tell Greg, Ted, David, Jay, and Clyde the Hurleys say hi! Shane at the front desk is also super helpful!

This was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at in my life. Lint and dust was pouring from a vent in our bathroom ceiling. The maintenance worker tried to tape it up, but he was fighting against the wind coming from the roof, for some reason the hotel staff couldn’t close the vent from the roof and lint kept coming from the vent. We were not compensated for the issues with our room, and that wasn’t the only bathroom problem that arose during our stay. There’s no free housekeeping No breakfast No free water No free parking, and the 50 dollar a night parking is understaffed. And, they said two of the seven nights would be free and they lied, I was charged for all seven. There’s no hot tub, but they do have a sauna and a pool that’s only sometimes heated. Clean, great service and great staff. The rooms were updated since I my last visit in 2015. Amenities, parks and the beach are all within a 5 to 10 min walk in Waikiki from the hotel. There was always availaiblity in the laundry room. The fitness room was small though very well equipped. The staff were friendly, helpful and very welcoming. Tip: If you drive a motorcycle, valet parking is free though tip your valet.

Overall, this is a beautiful and classy property in a great location. The hotel itself feels upscale, with chandeliers, marble flooring, and a polished atmosphere throughout. The rooms were clean, the service was friendly, and we appreciated the good toiletries, strong water pressure, and reliable hot water. We also loved the large window that opens, allowing fresh air into the room. For longer stays, a few extras would make a big difference — such as a dresser or additional storage so you’re not living out of a suitcase, and a small hot plate or kitchenette for guests staying a week or more. The biggest disappointment was the pool area. Given how elegant the rest of the hotel is, the pool felt completely out of place. It was small, often overcrowded, and the overall aesthetic didn’t match
