Clarion Pointe Sylva near Cherokee Area

Our daughter graduated from WCU this past weekend. We have stayed here many times and always take our dog with us. This past weekend was extra special for us. We had multiple rooms booked for ourselves and other family members. It’s a great location, clean, perfect for those traveling with pets, and the service we received was outstanding! Latiba, Curtis and Chris were courteous, kind, welcoming, and professional not only to our family but to other guests as well. Thank you for making our stay special.

We spent four nights at the hotel and were happy with the stay. The room was comfortable and very quiet. I am a light sleeper and had no issues with noise from the highway or from neighboring guests. The products available for the breakfast are a little limited, but otherwise had a good stay. We would stay here again.

Had to look for a room last minute with a family of 6 plus our dachshund and we were able to book this hotel very close to where we needed to be, our room was on the main floor (which with kids it was great for me). The room was clean,beds were soft and the kids loved how easy it was to find the cartoon channel it made a nice end to our rough day! The breakfast the next morning was simple make your own waffle or cereal and had sausage and eggs with several bread items to choose from great start for our day since we had a long trip ahead of us. If we're ever in the area we'd sure stay again!

The people at the reception desk are always pleasant. The place smells clean. Unfortunately, this room had ring around the toilet. The pillow case had a brown stained, through to the pillow, as if the whole pillow was washed but not stripped and washed individually. The carpet had brown stains all over. Carpet has NO place in a hotel. Disgusting and unsanitary. The bed itself was very comfortable, thankfully. I appreciate the little extras, shower cap, makeup remover. The shampoo/ conditioner are very difficult to push/squeeze out. I bring my own toiletries forget my shave gel. The cleaning is what we call "Mother-in-law clean", topical, heavily perfumed but not deep, sanitary clean.

The staff were excellent! Chris B the manager and Latisha at the front desk both remembered our names and our dog Piper Jo throughout our stay. I am normally not a hotel coffee person however, Clarion Sylva changed my mind. We will definitely be staying here again. Thank you for your hospitality.
