Our stay was, unfortunately, one of the worst we’ve ever experienced. My daughter and I came for a quick getaway, but the room was barely large enough for the two of us. At check-in, we were told it was “normal” for ladybugs to be in the rooms and hallways. We didn’t plan to spend much time in the room, so I tried not to worry—yet within the first 24 hours, I killed over 50 ladybugs in our room. On top of the bug issue, the cleanliness was unacceptable. There was hair in the shower, sink, and all over the countertops, as if housekeeping had only made the bed and taken out the trash. The shower itself was disappointing—the shower head was eye level with me at 5'6", and the water pressure was extremely weak. The wonderful thing about this property is the proximity to attractions, the kindness of the staff, the available parking, and the cleanliness of the facility. The available breakfast was helpful as well. However, I scored the site a “7” because of the size of the room, the lack of a bathtub, and the lack of a comfortable chair for sitting. Our room was very, very tiny and the lack of a bathtub or grab bars in the shower made it impossible for my elderly father to properly shower during our stay. And, although there was an office-type rolling chair for working, there wasn’t really a place for my dad to relax in room. A soft, single-seat chair for him was much needed. My wife and I stayed in this hotel on Valentine’s Day for a friend’s birthday trip. While it wasn’t our first choice, the group chose the hotel for economic reasons. I want to preface what I’m about to say with a quick review of the staff. While we were dealing with the ordeal below, Tanassa (I believe that was her name) was very kind and accommodating with what she was able to do. She is the reason I gave 5 stars for service and the only reason I gave two stars rather than one. TLDR: bedbugs When we first arrived, my wife and I noticed a smell that we often experience at thrift stores; it smelled like fumigation and chemicals to treat pests. Quick stay for one night, it met my needs fol solo traveler. Room was very clean but I believe the carpet had a moldy odor. Great AC. Front desk and housekeeping staff were very kind and courteous. Other than carpet odor in room, all was good.

The room was very clean and beds were very comfortable. No odd smells in the room either and ac worked amazing. Great water pressure and plenty of hot water. The entire staff was very kind and very helpful when we needed anything. Will definitely consider this place next time we are back in the area.
