Clarion Pointe Hinesville near Fort Stewart

I recently stayed at this hotel and truly believe it has so much potential, especially given its fantastic location. Being so close to key attractions, restaurants, and transportation hubs is a huge plus, and the property itself has the bones to be an excellent place to stay. The staff I encountered were friendly and welcoming, which made the experience start on a positive note. However, where the hotel really misses the mark is in the area of cleanliness and attention to detail—things that are not only essential but also very manageable to fix. Several issues stood out: • Mold on the ceiling, which is a major red flag and something that needs immediate attention. • Dirty mirrors and surfaces that suggested housekeeping standards need tightening. • Sticky floors, which made the space fee

Positive: I have stayed at this hotel many times because my son is in the military and have always chosen Clarion; unfortunately, this experience ensured it will be my last stay. Negative: I was placed in a room full of cockroaches that smelled strongly of dog. When I complained, the front desk informed me that the room had been occupied for months by a woman with four children and three dogs.

Excellent, responsive staff and nice room for a overnight stay. That said, some improvements need to be made : Electronic door lock using the key card issues had a lot of problems working . I had to see the front desk person at least 6x times during one 1x night stay as every time I used the card against the lock mechanism, lock would not open whatsoever. This is an issue, fix or replace the lock. Noise from rooms the floor above was constant until late night (11:00pm) then all was quiet. Appeared to be kids running back and forth and pounding against some object. Breakfast was minimal, need more/better options.

I came the other morning stressed from life on vacation to see family and when I say Nicky from front desk brightened my day, she brightened my year. She was so sweet and helpful with me the whole time. The lady who was there at 12 was horrible and rude. I told her there was no coffee she never acknowledged me. The one named Nicky with the beautiful smile need a raise, AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE! THANK YOU!

Horrible place. I can't believe choice hotels would put their name on this hotel. Rates weren't cheap but place was filthy.It was so late when we arrived I checked the sheets went to sleep but woke up and seen how bad the room was.
