Clarion Inn Cleveland near University

Bathroom: door has to open all the way to get in, then once in, shut all the way to use toilet. No room in bathroom. No way for towels to hang level to dry and reuse. I couldn't even reach the towel hooks mounted at the very top of the door. The shower curtain will not close at both ends at the same time so shower sprays outside to floor. Ragged furniture (where refrigerator sits, specifically) and lamp shades. Found bugs on the tea bags. Something sticky had dropped on them, prior to my arrival. I killed the bugs and threw away all tea bags; every tea bag had something on them. The cleaning staff should have caught this. I like that you have a fitness room. Breakfast was good. Coffee good. The beds were fine. Towels were clean. Room clean enough. Room lighting fine. Slept fine. A/c ad

Enjoyed our stay - easy in and out, nice breakfast- clean tables, front desk was helpful and polite. It’s your basic room if you are looking for a reasonably priced room that is clean, with friendly service and a nice breakfast (no frills) then stop in.

Positive: I liked having laminate in the room rather than carpet so that it felt cleaner. The breakfast was perfectly adequate and the front desk employee was very friendly. Negative: The updates are mostly superficial and the layout is not as open as other hotels we've stayed at. Like, who needs a closet?

Toilet not flushing properly, sink and tub very slow draining. Room was clean enough and staff were friendly, accommodating. Parking was adequate, area was clean. Rates for double room was fair.

I was very happy with how clean the rooms are maintained. Even the lobby. The price was great for what you get. I'm very grateful I chose this hotel in Cleveland vs any other. Dog-friendly for dogs under 25 pounds($15/night), 2 dogs max, $15 per dog per night. The laundry only has cold water so that was a downside. I was going to give 4 stars but the person working at the counter was always helpful. Her name is Gibby. She was just the sweetest and so helpful. She made the hotel 10 star worthy if I could!!! 🙏😊 Thank you!
