Clarion Hotel Convention Center

Looks nice from outside, a lot of amenities, pool, workout room, cool bar space when you walk in. A Medium sized restaurant space in back. Nice elevators. Could be a party spot if more advertising and maybe entertainment. I was in room 408 with a guest. The room was ok. The window you couldn't open though. The bathroom needed a little grout and a little water damage on ceiling in bath. There was open plumbing sewer pipe by my room, kinda gross. The ice maker is gone on floor 4 and the drain pipe had no cap. Anyway, customer service was great and the breakfast was a full spread. Nice job, good luck. Sincerely, Mandy🍷❤️

If you had a choice to stay at the Clarion in Minot, ND or your car I’d choose the car! Booked a night with 2 grandsons ages 2 & 3. Pool area looks nothing like the photo’s online. Pool filled with floating bugs and could not locate a skimmer, paint chipping that often times stuck to the boys skin. They had a great time as we were the only people in the children’s pool so those things although disappointing and gross were overlooked. Next morning pool was supposed to open at 9am, boys were ready at 8:30. 9:30 and the pool still wasn’t open, after inquiring the GM said that only maintenance could open the pool and he wouldn’t be in until 9:50. We waited until 10:30, pool was still not open so we left. They place a note at the front desk stating that the pool was closed and that if g

We rented four rooms, and 3 of the four had issues. One had no shower curtain, one smelled like fecal matter, one had no water pressure in the shower and there was no hot water. When reporting to the desk, they acted like this was an ongoing issue and they couldn't do anything about it. Some of the rooms were dirty in the corners, especially the bathrooms. The hotel needs updating. We were looking forward to the pool, that was closed for maintenance, and we also stay there to eat at the ground round. That closed the day we checked in! We were there for work purposes and plan to stay elsewhere from here on out until improvements are made.

Staff were friendly but seemed to not have enough staff to handle the amount of people that were there. Breakfast the same every day and on the day after our large event breakfast was pretty much non-existent as the one worker could not keep up with demand. The pools were very cold.
