City Express by Marriott Washington, DC Northeast

Very nice hotel and very clean. Close to DC and where can you find parking so affordable in the city. Staff was friendly.

I want to leave a good recommendation for this hotel. The receptionist EBONY and the manager ANTOINETTE gave us excellent service and were very well taken care of. The room was super nice, clean, organized, and spacious. The hotel in general is very beautiful.

Recently refurbished so rooms are clean and modern but sparse consistent with discount hotel. Location is light industrial. Nothing special. Not sure why it commands high nightly Price. They charged $23 for parking which is ridiculous in a location like this. Their breakfast bar is a disaster. Food awful. And service also awful. They sneered when I asked about replacing coffee. 20 min to brew carafe of coffee at 8:30. Separately same staff sneered at my wife who asked about creamers. This staff was hanging at front desk chatting with her friend/coworker rather than doing job. There are three hotels within 1000 ft. Would recommend trying one.

Well size room, equipped with a microwave, mini fridge, confortable bed very good customer service.
