CIMY Hawaii at the Waikiki Banyan

When we arrived, my wife inspected the beds, like she always does. What we found was disgusting. There was bedbugs in both beds. We saw live ones, larva and of course "poo". We called the manager, she said we will have to wait until she arrive in 3 hours. When she arrived, we explained to her. We wanted to show her the pictures, but she wasn't interested in seing them. At that we said to each other, she already knows about the bedbugs... She give us the keys to another room. My wife did again her thorough inspection. This time, we found little plastic bugs traps between the mattress and the box spring. We went back to the manager, showed the bugs traps. We saw a look in her eyes... After a pause, she said that she did not know what that was. After a while, she accepted to give us a refund.

Talk about a great location. Walk a block and a half and you are to the beach, plenty of restaurants and the bus line runs right to the side of the place. It was the most uncomfortable pullout sofa bed I’ve ever slept on in my life but the price was fantastic (helped that we went in the off season).

Fantastic experience! We stayed on the 36th floor facing the mountain side. The view was exceptionally beautiful, almost like a painting on the wall. The only problem was the shower in the washroom as it didn't work at all.. Overall great, would recommend to everyone.

We had a great place off of VRBO for the week. Very convenient location.

Excellent location and amenities. Only wish unit was not carpetted. Otherwise very comfortable stay.
