Chesapeake Bay Vacay

We stayed at the madison ave house in cape charles between christmas and new year's and had a wonderful time. The house was great and the owners were very responsive and even allowed us to check in early on the day of our arrival. The house was in a perfect location and was in great condition! We are looking forward to returning in the summer with our family. It was an all-around great experience!

Great weekend spent Labor Day Weekend! Location was perfect, house was great and owners are fantastic! House has a lot of details and essentials that you don’t need to bring with you. Very well equipped kitchen! Definitely recommend for your stay!

The house was perfect! I wanted to show my daughter Cape Charles and all its charm, and this visit did not disappoint. Working with Chip and Courtney was extremely simple. They made themselves available for any questions throughout our visit, which made us feel like we had a lifeline if we needed it. The house is decorated beautifully. Everything in the kitchen was perfectly appointed and it didn’t leave you scrambling to find the necessities to prepare a meal. Down to a garlic press and spices, we were covered! A bag of ground Cape Charles coffee was left for us, too. I appreciated this because I brought coffee pods with me but the house has a drip maker. This was our third time staying at Casa Fresa and we have been so pleased each visit! The house is beautifully decorated and so charming. The owners have done a wonderful job making sure guests have everything they could need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen has several small appliances (toaster, crock pot, coffee pot, etc), spices, pots and pans, baking sheets and plenty of dishes, cups and silverware. I appreciated the Tupperware containers to put snacks in for the beach! Speaking of beach - the shed is equipped with everything you need for the beach - 6 beach chairs, 2 umbrellas, a wagon, plenty of sand toys, floats and noodles. For the tiny crowd - there's a kiddie pool, stroller, high chair and pack'n'play. We also took full advantage of the pickle ball paddle set on our daily trip
