Champlin's Hotel, Marina & Resort

We had an amazing time at Champlin’s. First time to Island and this resort had all you need. A great pool and bar, a restaurant with terrific food (swordfish special with lobster risotto was amazing), great value, and all the amenities from a dock bar, cafe, ice cream shop, multiple fire pits, green space, you name it. The bikes for guest use were all in great working condition and the staff were terrific in getting us set up for kayaks and paddle boards and anything we needed. A special shout out to Kalina and Juliana in the cafe - they were super friendly and accommodating. And let’s not forget the shuttle service, with Rafa and others being so friendly and proving tips about the island, it was a great experience. We will be back, and we’ll be bringing a bigger group next time!

This was a 3 night vacation for my wife and I. The property was beautiful including the landscaping, facilities and room. It was the end of the season so not everything was open including Landing restaurant but there were plenty of other options nearby. And there were some things available including cafe, bar and gift shop. Great shuttle service to Aldo’s. Melina at front desk made us feel welcome immediately and helped carry our bags to the room. Izzy and Maria at the Boutique cafe were friendly and helpful (great omelette for breakfast). Hannah at Traders bar is terrific bartender and made us feel at home. Thank you to General Manager Ryann and accountant Randy for being so accommodating and making this a memorable trip. We plan to return.

We had the pleasure of being served by Adriana at Champlin’s Marina & Resort on Block Island, and she was absolutely wonderful! Friendly, attentive, and welcoming, she made our experience even more enjoyable. Adriana went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect—we couldn’t have asked for better service. I can not express the gratitude I have for this resort! My wife and I got married 9/5/25 and it was the most perfect day. Ryan went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and the day went smoothly. I stil have guest raving about the food about the food months later! I couldn’t have imagine getting married anyone else.

We hosted our pre-wedding welcome party here and Champlin’s blew us away. The food was phenomenal and exceeded all expectations. The prime rib roast for the carving station was quality prime marbled meat, passed apps were delicious and beautifully presented on elegant black slates. Our guests are still talking about the massive heaps of bacon wrapped scallops. As major foodies that live in a city…we think this is without a doubt the best food on the island - city caliber meal. I had no idea Champlin’s was putting out this caliber of food! The tent was gorgeous and brand new with beautiful wooden poles/frame. Didn’t even require any decorations.
