Central Loop Hotel

Great location. Short walk from Union Station. Wonderful staff here. They're very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and nice. The Samsung Smart TV in my room made streaming my TV shows a breeze. There is a restaurant and bar right there. I didn't go but it sure looked good and it had a lot of business. The room was quiet and peaceful and allowed me to get a good night's sleep. In my opinion, the price was great for what I got. I strongly recommend this hotel.

This is a great value option for staying centrally located. It was super convenient to walk and/or grab the public transit. Some of the details were a little old i.e. the TV in the room. Also, no fridge. But hey, we came to Chicago to explore the city so it worked great for us. The staff were also very accommodating with early check-in and letting us leave our bags at the front after check-out.

Positive: Great location - bed was comfortable. Hotel felt safe and secure. Good restaurant and coffee options close to the hotel. Negative: This is not a 4 star hotel. Terrible "self check-in" - the employee will not check you in - makes you check in yourself at a kiosk. The room is very worn and dated, odd layout. The room is similar to a Quality Inn room - the bed was comfortable.

The room was small but comfortable and quiet especially given it was New Year’s Eve.|We got a good price for the room through booking and a really good free breakfast included which was off of a menu. There is a restaurant attached called Elephant and Castle which we enjoyed for a snack and drinks to celebrate NYE.||The hotel needs to replace hall and bedroom carpets. We were on the 7th floor and all of the carpet looked worn and dirty. |The location is wonderful though so worth staying there. Many places in walking distance.

My cousin and I took a girl’s trip to Chicago to celebrate the New Year! This hotel is the perfect location for easy access to downtown activities, sightseeing, and good food. We literally walked everywhere! Our room was nice and clean with comfortable beds. Front desk staff were friendly and we had everything we needed during our stay.
