Cassady's Hilltop Cabins

Stayed at Twin Oaks with our whole family. Very spacious, clean, plenty of amenities for all your needs. There was a crib, large theater room for the older kids and an open concept for hanging out in the living room. Hot tub was clean and easily accessible. Owners were awesome and assisted when we got stuck due to the snow. 10/10 recommend if you’re traveling with a large group!

We had a group of 14 people stay at the Twin Oaks cabin and we had a great time. There was plenty of space for everyone to sleep and we didn't mind sharing the two bathrooms amongst us. The kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed the sunroom, hot tub, swing, gliders and sitting around the fire pit. We spent most of our time outdoors because of the time of year. But, if you went during the fall or winter, it would be a cozy place to stay with a mini movie theater in the basement. If you do stay in the winter, make sure you have 4-wheel drive, as it is not easy to get to. With the trees in bloom, we couldn't see any other cabins and found it very peaceful. We thought the cabin was clean and comfortable.

We have stayed every year for years in hocking hills. The Cassidy’s cabins twin oaks cabin has been by far the worst. The online pictures are deceiving. The cabin needs renovating. The kitchen appliances and cupboards are old and falling apart. The place is not maintained. I do not believe he has a “cleaning crew” as he claims when confronted with the filth. There had been 9 guys that stayed for a bachelor party before my family. Nothing was clean. You could tell the sheets had not been changed and they smelled. There was a large spot on the top sheet in one of the bedrooms. It was fairly fresh. There were long hairs on the sheets and pillow cases. 🤢. There was mouse poop in the kitchen drawers. The refrigerator was dirty with broken shelves. The area rugs did not seem to ever h

Mouse poop in eating utensils, spiders crawling up the walls, mold in downstairs bathroom due to no exhaust fan, dirt and crumbs everywhere. None of the linens were changed. I found a vape on the floor, luckily before my 8 month old got to it. Mice scratching at night. Had to leave early because i was concerned for my children’s health. When we notified the owner all he could say was “I’ll let them he maintenance man know”, “I’ll let the exterminator know” “sorry you had a bad experience”.

I can't believe I didn't take any pictures of the inside of this cabin! It was absolutely beautiful and very comfortable. The beds were clean and comfortable and all the nature around was breathtaking. We stayed over the 4th of July. It was nice have a game room and a movie theater. We enjoyed the hot tub and the side TV room in the evening when the kids were sleeping. My parents have stayed here before but this was our first time and it definitely won't be the last! I actually wanted to ask the owner for the building plans cause it was spacious and well built.
