Carolina Club by Spinnaker Resorts

The units are nice and maintained. That was the best part of my stay.|Concerns:| 1. I booked in April and in July I became handicapped, not being able to walk independently. Spinniker of Carolina Club contacted me of any concerns.| I replied, handicapped accessible. A week before, I called inquiring about my unit. The front desk couldn't tell me anything. I got 2 different managers' extensions. I left multiple voice mails with no replies. Had 3 steps to enter with no handrail at the landing. Fell getting in the 2nd day, crawling to the stairs inside to be able to stand up. Stayed in sore for 2 more days.|2. Ordered food from doordash since I was in and found out that Carolina Club charges a 15 dollar fee. My wife had to meet doordash outside of the resort.|3. Emailed twice during

Vacation on the beautiful island was great. The sleeping experience was beyond terrible. The beds are so hard. The floor is more comfortable. When you have to go buy an air mattress in order to sleep that’s pretty bad.

This is a great area to stay in and the 3 bedroom accommodations are very spacious. Pools are easy to walk to and lots of tables and beach chairs. Beach pass to park at the shipyard access is awesome, but parking is always in high demand. Clubhouse has lots of activities for everyone. Pickleball is addictive, so be careful or you will be there longer than you expected. Because these units are used so much in the summer the maintenance sometimes falls behind, but they always try to fix everything as best they can when you notify them. Our family loves coming back, even now that are kids are older.

Very family friendly. Been going for years. Always a great trip. Lots of pools, game room and beach access. The units are getting a bit dated, but if you are going to the beach and pools, etc... it's fine. We are owners and will continue to come down. As our kids get older we may buy more time. Just a great and relatively inexpensive place to come.

The location is in an extremely large well maintained former plantation with many different apartment and single family homes. Extremely walkable and bikeable (Bikes provided by Carolina Club). Location is perfect within 1 mile of Beach, 278 and Pope Ave. Golfers are in heaven. Enjoy a great vacation.
