Carolina Beach Motel

This is the cutest Motel!!! You won't find a better location than this!! Me and my husband came down for a weekend getaway. We parked and didn't have to drive anywhere. Everything was in walking distance. The cutest little market was located right behind the Motel along with a cute coffee shop inside. It had the best espresso and quiche! We had dinner at the Sandspur. Rooms were a great size and very clean, loved the easy check in process..... wish all Motels did this!! We can't wait to come back and bring the kids this Summer!

We’re giving 5 stars because we really loved the very tasteful interior design of the motel. Everything feels very new and well maintained. The room is small, but cozy, and both a grocery store and the beach are within easy walking distance. We would definitely come back. There are two points where we see room for improvement: We didn’t sleep well on the mattresses, as we found them uncomfortable and rather hard (Room 1). Also, the air conditioning blows directly into the face of the person sleeping on one side of the bed. During the night, we actually ended up switching our pillows to the foot of the bed to avoid the airflow. Overall, a very charming place with great potential.

The rooms are small, but very efficient with everything you need. The mattress, heavenly. The decor, very tasteful, cozy, and homey. I only saw inside our room, but i cannot believe that the furnishings are mass produced. Beautiful coastal decor with wicker and ratten that feels like it came from a high end estate sale. Even the lighting was just perfect. A larger mini-fridge, small microwave and a coffee maker are situated on an efficient bar area. The toiletries are full sized and delightful. The AC keeps the room as cool as you'd like, and the room was already cooled off when we arrived. There are plenty of sights, bars, restaurants, markets, delis and entertainment within walking distance. That's great for all of the obvious reasons, and for another more surprising reason. Ther

This place was perfect for a weekend getaway. The communication was excellent, the room was perfectly fine. The best part was the walkability to food and the beach. 10/10

With the exception of the room the gf and I stayed in (#18), which was very, very small -absolutely as advertised, we had a very nice stay. Very accommodating at a reasonable price; as were the staff! It is a motel, so keep that in mind. That said, you get a little more than what you pay for in that it is updated and clean and very well kept -nothing run-down about it!
