Carnifex Ferry Cabins

NOT TO BE TRUSTED!!! Took my deposit and when I found out that the cabin wasnt fit to be rented, they refused to give back my deposit. No furniture in the unit, no water in the hot tub and the grounds looked like it hadnt been landscaped all year! No contact from the owner despite many, many messages being left for Garrett. They are taking deposits on cabins that are not ready to be rented!!! The BBB will be contacted next!

We had such a good time! We stayed in cabin 9 and found it to be great!! The hot tub was hot and the cabin was cool. Everything was clean. We built a fire in the fire pit at night and chilled. Yes, I would definitely go back. Oh! And Jonathan was the best!

We were in Cabin 7, and had previously stayed here about 10 years ago. This time, there mouse droppings on the kitchen counter (appeared both mornings). No cleaning supplies or trash bag in the open kitchen trash bin. Kitchen table was very sticky, and dust bunnies galore especially under the beds. The small AC unit supplying the cabin struggled to keep up and the vents on the unit were very dirty/moldy. Having said all this, the setting is nice/remote and we were able to have a nice fire and also able to walk to Carnifax Ferry and do their trails. It was sad to see how deteriorated the place is, and lack of general cleanliness. Wont be going back ☹️

Hello Jonathan,|We arrived August 30, 2024 and were supposed to stay until Sept. 1, 2024 but left on Aug. 31, 2024. We stayed at the Summit Cabin #1 and it falling apart on the outside. The gutters were falling off the side of the cabin and there was a washer outside on the side of the cabin. The grass had not been cut in quite some time. When we got inside the cabin there was a small AC unit that had not been turned on so it was extremely hot inside. It would have been nice if the cleaning crew actually turned it on before arriving. There were multiple things that did not function properly. 1. the hot water in the bathroom sink did not work. 2. the refrigerator was barely cold and would not recommend putting anything in it that would spoil. 3. some of the outlets did not work and they wer

We have stayed with this company 3 other times, and were excited for our 4th. We never book the same cabin twice but we did with them because of the great rates. We drove 5 hours, 300 miles and were standing in front of the cabin in the rain with $100 worth of food and our elderly dog, and the door was locked. We called both numbers and got no answer. I checked my welcome email to see if I missed something and had 5 new emails from them that morning saying my reservation was cancelled! I had emailed them a month before asking about their cancellation policy because we were having car issues, then I called them the next day and said to forget about any cancellation because we worked it out and were still coming. Then 2 weeks before we arrived, they took my final payment off my card so
