Sleep Inn Summersville - New River Gorge Area

Room was very clean! That was our main criteria. CLEAN! The breakfast was good, and the attendant was so sweet! The front office staff was a bit short, which was surprising since other reviewers didn't say the same. Wish front doors were electric, as its hard to open doors and carry luggage. Side door was unlocked. Told front desk and man at desk ackowledged that it was broken, but he seemed unfazed. I think the lack of security should've been a concern to the hotel, but apparently not. Overall, very pleased with stay and will definately be back.

Very clean. Breakfast staff was wonderful. Front desk staff seemed like you were bothering them at times. I felt bad anytime I had to ask for a towel or anything. Side door was also unlocked. I felt this was a security issue, so I told the front desk man about it and he ackowledged that they were aware that the door was broken. Convenient to not have to walk around building and through lobby each time, but not secure. Overall, excellent expierence and would stay again!!

Friendly accommodating staff. Forgot something in the room they emailed me to let me know. Close to amenities. Great location to connecting roads/ highways. I really liked the shower it’s like your in a decent sized capsule.

Positive: The room was great although a bit smaller than normal Clean, beds comfortable, and the shower was the best I have ever been in! And the breakfast was truly a full breakfast. And kudos to the lady who was working the Breakfast, she did a great job. . Negative: The carpet in the hallways leading to the rooms, Really disappointed us.It was old and stained. It just did not meet the expectations of the rating of this hotel.

Joy, who managed the breakfast area, was phenomenal. She served with a smile, made sure everything was well-stocked, and even took the time to check in with guests to ensure they were enjoying their meal. Her hospitality made mornings feel special. I also want to give a huge shoutout to the cleaning staff—they kept the rooms spotless, fresh, and comfortable. You can tell they take pride in their work.
