Carmel Wayfarer Inn

I feel like the photos don’t do this place justice! I was pleasantly surprised by how cozy and spacious the room was. The king bed was very comfortable, there’s a good amount of surfaces and closet space to store your belongings, and I was surprised to discover a door to another room of two twin beds! Had more space than I needed. The fireplace is a cool touch. I honestly forgot there was even a partial view of the ocean, so that was a nice touch. The water in the shower heats up quickly which was great for chilly evenings or mornings in late October. It’s super walkable to all the restaurants and shops in the town, and also to the beach for a bit of a longer walk (it’s uphill back into the main area). Everything was super clean and I appreciate that there were things like an ice bucket,

We had a great stay at Wayfarer Inn! The staff was genuinely friendly and helpful, which made the experience feel easy from start to finish. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the common areas were thoughtfully designed and inviting. Overall, it was an incredible value for the quality and atmosphere. I would happily stay here again.

We had such a nice stay at this perfectly located inn. The rooms were clean and well-equipped. Mike and his team were kind and very accommodating. The garden area was beautiful. We were walking distance to so many restaurants, bars, and shops and close to the beach too. We even had a distant ocean view. We plan to come back here again and again!

It is a great location, but parking is limited at this hotel ! Be aware! And it can be loud when people are outside in front of the rooms since the tables and chairs are right in front of the rooms for people to hang out ! Not the best setup ! Thanks

Have you heard or used the expression "it gets the job done"? Well this is what I use to describe this hotel. I gave it a 5 star rating because it's great for me and my family. The room is nice but not to nice. They have rooms that accommodate bigger families. Fire place. Dog friendly, and close to many locations within Carmel. It gets the Job done. The staff is friendly.
