Captain Mey's Inn

Amazing location, with opportunities for improvement. My husband and I have been visiting Cape May for over thirty years, so we've stayed in many of the B&B's as a couple and then with our children. We love the city and the variety of places to stay. With our grown daughter in town, we made a last-minute decision to enjoy a few days together in Cape May and was fortunate to find a three-bedroom option at Captain Mey's Inn. Due to our late arrival the owner provided the necessary information to access the B&B and our room. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a decent size bathroom located just outside of our room. This wonderful inn was a perfect home-away-from-home for a long weekend at the beach. Rita, the innkeeper, is a charming hostess. She is happy to let you enjoy all of the rooms in this Victorian home. My girlfriend and I enjoyed two romantic take-out dinners on the porch when the restaurants got too crowded. Our room was well furnished and immaculately clean. The house is well-located in the historic section of Cape May. It is two short blocks from the beach and one block from the main shopping area. I highly recommend this home for a classy getaway at the Jersey shore.

Stayed here couple of weeks ago for a long weekend stay and let me tell you this spot was PERFECT for such an occasion! It is very close to the famous market street of Cape Mayand just a few streets from the beach, so it’s literally in the middle of all the popular sights and attractions! Aside from the perfect location, the house is extremely charming and very clean, I especially loved the wrap around porch! I highly recommend this place and I definitely aim to visit here again on my next Cape May trip but def grab a parking space and stay put there as it’s very limited, but at least it’s so close to anything I hardly used my car during my stay 😆

Great location and amenities. Very nice hostess. Only negative is that the parking lot is a bit tight (as advertised), but it worked as.we have a smaller car.

Stayed here for the first time last week and we loved it…so much so that my now-fiancé proposed on the adorable porch! Such a charming place and we felt right at home. The location is literally perfect - you can walk anywhere and be there in no time. Highly highly recommend!!!!
