Capitol Hill Hotel

This hotel wad phenomenal. The location is perfect, right next door to the capitol offices and the library of congress. There is plenty of restaurants and sites within walking distance so you dont need to deal with taxis. The rooms were really very nice, the staff was so friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was full of variety and quantity.

Positive: The breakfast is the best my Pa ever had at a hotel. Negative: The elevator is small and hard to get cart in and out. Bed was comfortable but I had better at a different lower star hotel. Location was good but my family is not from DC and we had trouble getting to the hotel because of traffic that we were not aware.

We recently had our wedding here in DC at the Church across the street from this hotel. We all stayed here and I absolutely cannot recommend this hotel enough. All of the staff that I interacted with went out of their way to make our stay as seamless as possible, from room upgrades to digging people's cars out of the snow after the snow storm, the service was impeccable. Rooms were spacious, clean, and the location is ideal for downtown.

Stayed two nights. While it is an older building, it looks like they've done a renovation recently. Our room was very nice. Comfy bed. The tub in the room was obviously very old, and the finish had worn off. They put a non-slip shower mat over it, but it still looked pretty bad. I took showers and could deal with it, but no one would take a bath in that tub. Everything else at the hotel was great. The staff were the stars. The valet, front desk and breakfast staff were all wonderful and friendly. We had a good stay.

Pet friendly hotel in a great location with great views. Very inviting as soon as you walk in and are greeted. They take special care to be attentive and respectful each time they see you. My dog was very eager to grab a cookie each time we passed by. Super close to everything and allt of great food in the area. Very walkable and friendly location.
